The opening event highlighted the diverse interpretations of the Białowieża Forest, offering unique perspectives on nature and art. The exhibition has garnered positive attention, reflecting the quality and depth of the artworks displayed.

This exhibition is a result of the PerspAKTIV project residency and is supported by RAZAM, Ambasada Kultury, and Galeria Miejska Arsenal, with financial backing from the German Federal Foreign Office.

Exciting news — our artist in residence Mikhail Gulin will be joining us in Berlin for a festive event in collaboration with Uferstudios and PLAY! Berlin
This season, PLAY! Berlin unveils an inspiring installation, co-created with refugee children, that showcases the power of art in uniting communities. The hosting partner is a well known contemporary dance institution – Uferstudios. As a highlight, Mikhail Gulin hosts an imaginative workshop that takes us back to the age of dinosaurs. This event is funded by the Senate Department for Culture and Social Cohesion.

Heather Honey
The performance is based on the Scottish poet Robert Stevenson's ballad "Heather Honey" (1880), which tells about the struggle of the Pictish tribe against the Scottish invaders. The topic of fighting for one's freedom and independence is relevant today in the context of Russia's aggression against Ukraine and the oppression of Belarusians by Lukashenka's regime.
