«Х Letters» — the project of our artists in residency at Musik der Jahrhunderte (Stuttgart) will be shown as part of the festival "Die Grenzen" in Berlin.

"X Letters" is a video — diary, which correlates and combines in one "book" of different contexts and human stories reflecting the theme of exile, migration and refugee, loss of home, choice, adaptation and existential crisis caused by the war in Ukraine and political repressions in Belarus. This is a commemoration of personal experiences and reflections from social media posts and comments, interview fragments and multimedia archives collected during the artist’s research.
The project has initially been started within the framework of ECHOES — Voices of Belarus IV of Musik der Jahrhunderte Stuttgart e. V. program in 2022. It was finalized at PerspAKTIV art residence implemented by RAZAM, Ambasada Kultury and IN SITU with the financial support of the German Federal Foreign Office in 2023.

The "Die Grenzen" festival is about the borders between relaxation and self-discovery with BBQ and cozy company right in the center of Berlin. It's a mix of experimental video art and installations, ambient and instrumental jazz, acoustics and electronics, Eastern and Western Europe. We start on Saturday, May 20, at 3pm — we meet again on May 21 at 4pm. To look for where our borders are and whether they exist, there will be wonderful music and art company.
